On Thursday we went to Coopers Beach for EOTC. First we had to gather at school and then started walking to the beach. It took us about 35 minutes to get there. After arriving at the beach, we had our morning tea. We then got into 4 groups (about 11 children in a group) and went to various activities. The different activities were, photography, beach cricket, kayaking, paddle boarding and a nature walk up Rangikaptiki. After two rotations we had lunch, then had the other two. After a long day in the sun, we had to walk back to school.                              reflection: I enjoy doing everything because  they were all fun activities the thing I didn't like  was walking to the beach because of hot sun but one,s we where there we had a drink of water and cool down.

the gran canyon

Walt: we designed a brochure and summarise important facts to add to it.

question: have you made something like this?

introduction:we found out information about the Grand Canyon and how it was formed we found out that as long as the  Colorado river is flowing erosion is sill happening.

reflection:I found designing a  brochure was easy' but the hardest thing was to find out facts about the gran canyon, the thing I like the about this was putting images and videos this slide.

wait on Thursday we went to plant trees at rangikapiti pa

We where plating trees to bring our native birds back to rangikapiti pa.first we buddy up with a partner then we went to plant the trees that weren't planted yet.  when we where done we walk up to the pa then we walk back down to the bus and went back to school.

Walt: we learnt how to write a paragraph using text format

Pneumonia is a lung  disease that makes it harder for you to breathe in oxygen. Other lung diseases include asthma, emphysema and more!  you Breathe in around 11,000 litres of air a day!
